You may begin an Evening Certificate Program in early September for the fall term or early January for the spring term. The exact start dates are announced on the
UC Berkeley Extension main website two to three months before the start of each term.

Fees
The $100 application fee is due with your
enrollment application. The international student fee of $4,400 is due after you are accepted, no later than 30 days before the start of the program. You pay course fees and purchase textbooks after you arrive, at the beginning of each term. There will be additional fees for registration and insurance if your program lasts longer than one year.
The programs have a range of costs for course fees and books. This range depends on the concentration and electives you choose. In addition, registration and insurance fees will vary depending on the length of time you take to complete your program. The fees shown below are estimates only.
