Program Fees
Below are the fees for the Fall 2008 semester of Fall Program for Freshmen (FPF).

The FPF Program Fee does not include:
- textbooks and other course materials
- housing and other living expenses
- transportation
- mandatory health fee
- optional Recreational Sports Facility fee (fall semester only)
Notes: The FPF Reservation Fee is a separate fee from the $100 fee paid to UC Berkeley's Office of Undergraduate Admissions to accept spring enrollment and sent with your Statement of Intent to Register (SIR). The FPF Program Fee remains the same regardless of the number of units a student is enrolled in. Non-residents are assessed the same fee as California residents.
University Health Fee
In addition to the FPF Program Fee, there is a mandatory fee for the UC Berkeley Student Health Insurance Plan (SHIP). You may be eligible to waive this fee.

Billing Information
Once you enroll in FPF, a billing account will be created for you on UC Berkeley's Campus Accounts Receivables System (CARS). Billing statements will be available in July. FPF fees are due Aug. 15, 2008.
The University is no longer processing paper billing statements. You must sign up for e-Billing in order to view due dates and charges to your account. Please contact UC Berkeley's Billing and Payment Services for all billing questions: (510) 642-3190.
