International Business

Compete in the Global Economy

Prepare for a career in the international marketplace. In the International Business IDP you learn how globalization has affected international trade and about the complexities of the global supply chain. Through a global focus on economics and finance you gain a practical understanding of the international monetary system, licensing, joint venturing, and equity investment, and the cultural and legal factors that affect product development, distribution channels, and promotion. You also examine the economic impact of trade, and learn to manage factors critical to the success of firms involved in importing and exporting goods and services. International Business is a core or concentration program option in the Management and Business Track.
