Photoshop is essential to any graphic designer's toolbox. This course introduces the fundamental concepts of Photoshop: using layers, painting tools, blending modes, tonal correction, and retouching and sharpening images. You also learn the fundamentals of scanning, image resolution, and appropriate file formats. Emphasis is given to real-world production and collaging techniques. This course is for anyone planning a career in the graphic arts.
Prerequisite: Macintosh experience.
