Intermediate Financial Accounting I

This course builds on the financial accounting concepts and principles covered in Introduction to Financial Accounting XB102A. Following an in-depth review of the accounting environment and the nature of accounting information, the course covers time value of money concepts and explores all of the basic financial statements. Detailed attention is given to how enterprises account for assets: cash, accounts receivable, inventories, property and equipment, intangible assets, and long-term investments.
Prerequisite: Introduction to Financial Accounting XB102A or equivalent.
