Studio IV: Advanced Commercial
X408.7 (4 semester units in Architecture)
The dynamic use of drawings to effectively illustrate your design concepts is critical in the industry. This studio class combines all of the experiences in space planning, color theory, lighting, material selection, design and construction into a final commercial project that directs students into thinking about how an actual design project comes together.
Note: Students are required to bring their portfolio showing their most current work, an architectural scale, one roll of 12" trace paper, pencils, and fine-point and thick pens for sketching.
Prerequisites: Studio III: Commercial X408.3 and Design Presentation Techniques II X412.9, or consent of instructor.
