Introduction to Landscape Architecture
X25 (2 semester units in Landscape Architecture)
This survey course provides an orientation to landscape architecture as one of the environmental design professions. It is a beginning course in the Certificate Program in Landscape Architecture. Lectures and field trips explore the history of landscape architecture; the central ideas of the profession; the role of the designer in the problem-solving process; and the nature, modes, and scope of current landscape architectural practice.
