Using a straightforward, step-by-step approach, you build Web pages of increasing sophistication and design, acquiring a sound working knowledge of HTML and Web design.
This course and the textbook that supports it are based on the use of computers running the Microsoft operating system. If you have a Macintosh computer and plan to use it in this course you must:
- Make sure you have a text editor such as SimpleText on the Macintosh or purchase Microsoft Office Professional for Macintosh and
- Be proficient enough in using your Macintosh computer that you can work around any issues that may arise in doing the assigned exercises and assignments. The instructor will be unable to provide technical support and guidance for Macintosh users.
