Mandarin IV
X25 (2 semester units in East Asian Languages)
This course is designed to further develop practical skills to communicate in a Chinese speaking environment. By the end of the course, you should be able to conduct monetary and simple business transactions, and discuss work routines and professional interests, as well as be familiar with basic negotiation expressions. You should also be able to read and write 645 simplified characters and their corresponding pinyin romanization.
Prerequisite: Mandarin III X24 or equivalent.
