Field Experience in Chemical Dependency—CAADAC Option

X159 (3 semester units in Public Health)

This course covers all the material in the two-unit version of Field Experience in Chemical Dependency but extends the coursework and requires 255 CAADAC-eligible internship hours. The instructor will approve placement sites and student assignments based on CAADAC acceptability and an individualized assessment of student capabilities. (Please see course description for Field Experience in Chemical Dependency X109.)

Prerequisite: Completion of all Level I and II courses in the Alcohol and Drug Abuse Studies program or consent of instructor.
