Sculptural Fundamentals
X420 (2 semester units in Art)
This course is designed to provide beginning and continuing students with a foundation in sculptural techniques and theories. Course projects challenge your creative resources amd help you build skills in mixed media, clay modeling, mold making, plaster and paper casting, and armature building for figurative or abstract work. Students learn to make objects for their home or outdoor environment as well as build a portfolio for further study in sculpture.

SUZANNE BIAGGI, M.A., is a site-specific sculptor who has taught at San Francisco State University and the College of Marin. Her work has been exhibited regionally, including at the Oakland Art Museum and the Southern Exposure Gallery, Los Angeles, and internationally.
