Introductory Biology with Lab
X19 (4 semester units in Molecular and Cell Biology)
This course provides a solid foundation in the fundamental concepts in cellular, molecular, and developmental biology typically covered in a one-semester, lower-division college course. It is designed as an introduction for professionals considering a career change to biological sciences from another field, or for anyone interested in understanding basic biology. Proctored final examination. The lab component of the course consists of "home wet lab" biology experiments and exercises on two CD-ROMs.
