Figure Drawing
X415 (2 semester units in Art)
Learn to draw an anatomically correct and aesthetically interesting human figure. Working from model poses of varying lengths and exercises using various drawing media and techniques, you learn the concepts of proportion, lighting, foreshortening, and composition necessary to describe the figure realistically.
Note: Bring charcoal or soft lead pencils and an 18" x 24" drawing pad or newsprint to the first class.
Prerequisite: Drawing Fundamentals X405 or consent of instructor.
