Advanced AutoCAD for Landscape Architecture: Level II
X433 (2 semester units in Landscape Architecture)
Expanding on topics covered in AutoCAD for Landscape Architecture: Level I X428, the instructor uses lecture, demonstration, and one-on-one assistance to reinforce students' ability to create landscape architectural designs using AutoCAD software. Discussions include the use of dialog boxes to adjust settings for dimensions, linetypes, layers, and color. Students learn how to make a script file to manage layers for various plan types and to transfer layers from model-space to paper-space viewports.
Prerequisite: AutoCAD for Landscape Architecture: Level 1 X428

DOUGLAS GODFREY, M.L.A., received his bachelor's degree from the University of Illinois at Champagne-Urbana in planning and his graduate degree from Cornell University in landscape architecture. He works with the highly respected landscape architectural firm of Royston, Hanamoto, Alley, and Abbey.
