An elective in the Professional Program in the Treatment of Anxiety Disorders and the Professional Program in the Treatment of Mood DisordersThis workshop provides you with the opportunity to learn to use art therapy as a meaningful tool in the treatment of depression and anxiety. The creative process can help clients gain direct access to the underlying emotional issues and core vulnerabilities that lie at the root of their struggles. It also provides clients with a form of self-expression for unconscious and disavowed feelings that often become manifested as depression or anxiety. The workshop includes lecture, slides, participation, and discussion.
