Weekend Poetry Retreat
Whether you're in the middle of an epic piece, have poems stuffed in a sock drawer that you've never shown to anyone, or are simply an admirer of poetry who is ready to give it a try, this intensive weekend course is designed to provide inspiration, feedback, examples, and guidance.
Poetry doesn't happen in a vacuum. Over the course of two days, this class helps you to connect to your own voice while
exploring the rich craft and tradition of others. The weekend
includes workshops, reading and discussion, lecture, writing exercises and readings by guest writers in an environment that is both safe and honest. Through explorations of craft and process, strategies, projects and experiments, you'll leave with some techniques to write the next poem.
