Advanced Perl Programming
X479.1 (1 semester unit in EECS)
Students take their Perl programming skills to the next level as they learn the fundamentals of advanced data structures, how to build their own Perl modules and many other advanced coding techniques. Students gain hands-on experience working with commonly used Perl modules that help to solve complex problems much simpler and quicker. This course requires a firm grasp of the Perl programming language and its syntax. Students help to shape the curriculum, which is partly based upon the kinds of problems they face in the real world.
