B2B Marketing Management: Creating and Delivering Value
X449 (2 semester units in Business Administration)
This marketing class focuses on creating and delivering value to customers in the business to business sector. You learn how to develop sources of strategic value including bundled services offerings, partnerships, promotions and pricing incentives, end-to-end solutions, and distribution channels. You also learn how to manage customer requirements and marketing strategy in a rapidly changing global environment, especially as product lifecycles shorten and competition increases.
On successful completion of this course, students will:
- Understand the concepts and activities that comprise business marketing management including market segmentation, positioning, and developing winning marketing strategy.
- Learn how transactions among firms create value chains for customers and sellers
- Apply the 4Ps–product, place, promotion, and price–to business solutions
- Uncover ways to build collaborative relationships with customers, partners, resellers and others in order to increase the value of solutions developed for the market.
- Discuss methods for increasing loyalty among profitable customers.
