This free, four-week public lecture series features cutting-edge sustainable development projects from Northern California. Each week a different lecturer presents a new and exciting ecological urban design and answer questions from the audience.The events serves as an introduction to the Ecocity World Summit, which will be cohosted by UC Berkeley Extension April 22-26.

MICHAEL HARRIS SAMMET, M.A., is an expert in green design and sustainable products. He teaches and lectures about ecological solutions to current environmental challenges, and he hosts a weekly radio talk show in which he interviews leaders in the field of sustainability.
