Enhancing and renewing old skills, stimulating spontaneous expression, and providing a safe and lively place for life-review and revitalization of the creative spirit is critical for elders in hospitals, nursing homes, and other long-term institutional settings. In this hands-on workshop, you learn exciting and developmentally appealing group creative arts therapy ideas and methods. Open to all professionals working with this population. Wear comfortable clothes for making art.

JANET K. LONG, M.A., MFT, ATR-BC, CTP, is in psychotherapy/art therapy private practice, and is adjunct professor at California College of the Arts. She has taught and worked in art therapy for the past 30 years, and is a winner of the Helen Landgarten Award for clinical excellence in art therapy.NOTE: This class is closed.
