X416.7 (1 semester unit in EECS)
An elective in the Certificate Program in UNIX/Linux System Administration and in the Professional Sequence in Database ManagementPerl is widely used by UNIX and Windows programmers and system administrators, as well as by Web and database programmers. Perhaps its most powerful feature is that Perl programs run on any operating system with few, if any, changes needed.
On successful completion, you should be able to write, debug, and understand more complicated Perl programs.
