Determining Federal Wetlands Jurisdiction

An elective in the Certificate Program in California Water Management and Ecosystem Restoration

This intensive four-day course examines the application of the 1987 U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Wetland Delineation methodology and subsequent agency guidelines used to delineate U.S. wetland boundaries to include the latest regional guidance supplement for the Arid West. You analyze wetland sites varying in difficulty from the most basic to the very difficult as you develop state-of-the-art, hands-on experience. Field trips include a range of wetland habitats within the San Francisco Bay Delta area.
