Critique Seminar
X495 (2 semester units in Art)
This course provides a forum for critical dialogue with your peers under the guidance of an experienced artist. You present original artwork to the group and receive in-depth responses regarding issues of meaning and content as well as technical and formal resolution. The instructor provides useful information on documentation and feedback on the development of your portfolio. Weekly seminar discussions explore relevant topics in visual art and culture and provide you with an opportunity to develop your vocabulary and skills of critical awareness.
