Awaken Your Strongest Self: How to Access Your Higher Brain
(0.5 ceu)
When you take charge of your life you are using your brain's leadership functions. In this interactive seminar, you'll learn strategies for shifting your perspective and accessing your "strongest self." Exercises and concepts adapted from research on the stages of change, optimal performance strategies, and the martial arts help you learn to recognize the authority of the prefrontal cortex: the "executive" part of your brain. Get unstuck from old patterns, and identify new goals. The class is led by psychologist and author Neil Fiore, whose workshops have been featured at the Smithsonian Institution and at major corporations.
