Cognitive psychology is the scientific study of mental processes. The primary goal of this course is to provide a basic understanding of the properties of human cognition and the principles that govern how it works. You explore how the mind perceives information from the environment and where it goes from there. Course content includes a balance of classic and recent findings in core topics in cognitive psychology (perception, memory, language comprehension, and problem solving, among others) accompanied by a variety of concrete examples from experiments and real life.
