This is a course in the Paralegal Studies ProgramCourt rules are the procedural requirements for trials. This course introduces the most often relied upon court rules, as well as the skills necessary for finding the rule governing any specific procedural question.
Local and state trial and appellate courts are discussed, along with filing procedures for specific courts. You explore the basic differences between state and federal jurisdictions and between federal trial and appellate jurisdictions, and you become familiar with educational requirements for paralegals in the state.
